InCAEM workshop at ALBA Synchrotron

The InCAEM project is presented to the Catalan scientific community

InCAEM, In Situ Correlative Facility for Advanced Energy Materials, is a new facility, now in construction at the ALBA Synchrotron premises, open to all the scientific community for studying advanced materials.

On Friday, 14 April 2023, more than 70 members from different Catalan research institutions attended a workshop where the facility was presented, and explored collaboration opportunities.

Kickoff meeting of the European DYNAMO project in Castelló

From ICMAB, researcher Agustín Mihi participates in this new EIC Pathfinder Horizon Europe project.

The Horizon Europe DYNAMO project, coordinated by the Optics Research Group of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló (GROC), has started its activity with the first meeting of the international consortium, formed by fourteen partners and associated entities, including ICMAB.

First KardiaTool project meeting in CSIC Brussels: interview with the researchers

The first review meeting of the KardiaTool project, a project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, was organised onMarch 2019. The project involves fourteen partners from nine European countries and one non-European country (United States). The consortium is formd by five universities, five research centres, including the CSIC, two SMEs and two industry partners.

Ana M. López-Periago participates at the Interdisciplinary CSIC Platform "SusPlast" on sustainable plastics towards a circular economy

The SusPlast platform was officially launched on March 2019. The "Interdisciplinary Platform for Sustainable Plastics towards a Circular Economy" platform counts with the participation of 15 research groups from CSIC centers. From the ICMAB, from the Supercritical Fluids and Functional Materials group (SFFM) participates in the platform.

Kick-off of the E-MAGIC European Project on Magnesium batteries

The E-MAGIC (European Magnesium Interactive Battery Community) research project is a European H2020 FET-PROACTIVE recently funded with 6.5 million euros. Its aim is to develop new magnesium-based batteries, more powerful, cheaper and safer than lithium-ion ones. The project could pave the way for the establishment of a competitive battery cell production landscape in Europe.
