We offer a three-year PhD position in the framework of the project “Towards Efficient Hydrogen Production with New Hybrid Electrocatalysts (HYDROCAT).”  This project will be developed in close collaboration with a theoretical group at University of Barcelona and a group expert in electrocatalysis at the Catalan Institute of Nanonoscience and Nanotechnology.

The Physical Chemistry of Surfaces and Interfaces (PCSI) group offers a PhD position on “Operando and In-situ Multimode Characterization of Organic Semiconductors for a Comprehensive Design of High-Performance Electronic Devices.”

The candidate will join the team led by Agustín Mihi within the HORIZON-EIC-2021-PATHFINDEROPEN project DYNAMO (Dynamic Spatio-Temporal Modulation of Light by Phononic Architectures.) Dr. Mihi’s team is part of the Nanostructured Materials for Optoelectronics and Energy Harvesting (NANOPTO) group, which is generally devoted to materials for energy and photonic applications.

A PhD position is available in the Nanostructured Molecular Materials for Biomedicine (NANOMOL–Bio) group under the supervision of Dr. Paula Mayorga and Dr. Imma Ratera.

Two PhD positions will be available at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC) to work on metal anode based batteries with ICMAB researcher Alexandre Ponrouch.

A postdoctoral position is opened in the framework of the SMARTSPIN project with ICMAB researcher Can Onur Avci.

A postdoctoral position is opened in the framework of the ERC project MAGNEPIC with ICMAB researcher Can Onur Avci.

One PhD position will be available at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC) to work on Chiral Spintronics with ICMAB researcher Can Onur Avci. 

The Nanomol Group at ICMAB is looking for a person to work on administrative tasks of the group: project managing, purchases, temporal contracting, organizing activities, etc.
