Paul Hagenmuller died at the age of 95 on 7 January 2017

Paul Hagenmuller, born on 3 August 1921 in Strasbourg, died at the age of 95 on 7 January 2017.

Professor Honorary of the University of Bordeaux, creator and director of the laboratory of Chimie du Solid of the CNRS until 1985, he is recognized as one of the founders of this sub-discipline of chemistry at the confines of physics and the materials science.

Paul Hagenmuller was a member of the first International Scientific Committee of the ICMAB-CSIC.
